Greenwood Car Show
The Greenwood Car Show is the Last Saturday in June every year on Greenwood Ave N. in Seattle – Organized by the Greenwood Knights
Neighbor Day
Neighbor Day began in 1995 as a proclamation from Mayor Norm Rice as “a special day to celebrate the goodness in those around us” and strengthen our bonds with one another. Some host block parties or potlucks. Others wave from a window, introduce themselves in the hallway, or help carry groceries. All of it counts.
Night Out
National Night Out Against Crime is a crime prevention event that takes place the first Tuesday of every August.
Gumshoe 5k
Gumshoe is slang for “detective.” It’s also the name of a walk that since 2006 has been challenging participants to solve their way through 30 clues and 5 kilometers of Seattle’s Phinney Ridge/Greenwood neighborhood. All for the chance to win prizes and raise funds for local non-profits.
